JAMES JORDAN  (b. 1833 Charleston, South Carolina**, died  4-1-1897 Oregon) - he married MARY FIDLER (b. 1840, Crawfordsville IN., died 4-9-1924 in Wolf Creek, Oregon​) daughter of Dr. George Fidler and Jane Strain, James and Mary married on 2 FEB 1857 in Oregon. 
** Unfortunately, since we do not have absolute and conclusive proof of who are James' parents, only educated guesses. Therefore I cannot post any continuance of his ancestry with any certainty. Unfortunately, many rural and southern census records prior to the Civil War only designated the number of children in a family by sex or age, and not by first names.

ROY JORDAN (b. 23 Sept. 1887, Grants Pass, OR.) m. EVA DAVIDSON (b. 26 Jul 1889, Williams, Josephine Co., OR. Roy Jordan died Jan. 5th, 1924, accidental electrocution as a lineman for the power company.
